AIDS Charity Project - RED RIBBON Spiritual Song ~umare kuru kodomo tachi no tameni~

Warner Music Japan is releasing AIDS charity single 'RED RIBBON Spiritual Song ~umare kuru kodomo tachi no tameni' on November 28, 2007. Originally sung at RED RIBBON LIVE 2006, the song was partly written by Kazutoshi Sakurai in addition to him singing part of the song at the live in 2006. However, although he helped write it, Sakurai will not be participating in the studio recording of the single. The single will be in production for only 6 months with all net profits donated to the Japan AIDS stop fund.

FNS 2007

Mr.Children will be attending FNS 2007. The 4 and a half hour event will air on December 15, 2007 from 19:00 through 23:30, with the group most likely performing 'Tabidachi no uta' once again.

Mr.Children's 27th consecutive #1 single

'Tabidachi no uta' gained the #1 spot for the week on ORICON and sold 238,000 copies its first week, bringing their record up to 27 consecutive #1 singles.

Sakurai to appear in MUSICA

Sakurai will be in the December 2007 issue of MUSICA magazine. Topics that his interview will cover range from his personal life, bank band, ap bank fes '07, and Mr.Children.
