Two new songs announced

Mr.Children have announced two new songs to be released this year. The first song titled 'fanfare' will be used as the theme song for the One Piece movie 'Strong World'. The group was asked by manga artist Eichiro Oda to write the song in February 2009 and finished recording in September 2009. The tie-up will also be Mr.Children's first anime tie-up since 1992. The second song titled '365 Days', will be used as the promotional song for upcoming NTT East Japan commercials set to begin airing in late November. While a physical single has not been announced for either song, 'Fanfare' will be available for download on Chaku Uta as a ring tone on November 16, 2009 and as a full song on December 2, 2009.

New tour goods released

Kurkku has updated their official website with new tour goods for Mr.Children's upcoming 2009 Dome Tour.

SWITCH 12/09

Kazutoshi Sakurai and manga artist Eichiro Oda will be the featured story for the December 2009 issue of SWITCH magazine. The issue goes on sale November 20, 2009.
